Legendary Australian guitarist Charlie Owen has made his mark on this country’s rich musical landscape. His band history includes Beasts of Bourbon, the New Christs, Tex Don & Charlie, Tendrils and Working Class Ringoes, and he has collaborated with Paul Kelly, Chrissie Amphlett, Louis Tillett and Penny Ikinger.
Charlie is playing a series of special solo shows in October, playing and talking his way through his own back pages and showing why he’s regarded as one of our greatest guitarist’s.
He’ll be joined on the bill at MoshPit Bar in Sydney, on Saturday, October 28 by special guest Penny Ikinger, the former Wet Taxis member and a solo artist in her own right. MD Horne and Matt Allison will open the night.
