Penny Ikinger has been making waves with her recent whirlwind tour of France and Spain, including notable performances and appearances. She recently performed live on national television in Spain for Los Conciertos de Radio3 in Madrid, where she was joined by an impressive lineup of musicians: Roy Mitakidis (Greece) on guitar, Vinz Guilluy (France) on bass, JB Didier (France) on keyboards, and Frantz Arnould (France) on drums. Penny Ikinger’s image was projected on the front of Chillida Leku Museum building in Hernani, Spain as part of an exhibition by rock photographer Juxe Areta Goñi and she featured in an interview in Ruta 66 – Tiempos de Rock & Roll magazine (Spain).

Her final show of 2024 will be in Melbourne at the Cactus Room in Thornbury on Friday, December 13th. She will perform with her Melbourne-based band, Penny Ikinger’s Marbles. The night will feature House of Light, a Berlin-born band blending cinematic shoegaze and synth-rock, who will be performing their last show in Australia before heading back to Europe. Opening the night are the dynamic duo Esse & Nilstock, who bring a mix of Dylanesque ballads and catchy, energetic bangers.
The event promises to be a night full of eclectic performances and a great way to wrap up the year. Tickets are available for purchase, and the lineup is as follows:
