Matt Malone is an iconoclastic singer-songwriter from the Victorian goldfields, known for his bold baritone and tenebrous lyricism. Often compared to Jim Morrison, Glenn Danzig, Mark Lanegan and Michael Gira, Malone brings his own unique blend of delta blues, outlaw country and post-punk spiritualism to the stage.  He will be joined by The Holy Spirits — James W. du Plessis on drums and Benny “The Gentleman” Mac on electric slide guitar — their live performances are as much firebrand ritual as rock’n’roll show.

Penny Ikinger will be performing solo at The Tote, armed with the Pennycaster and a lifetime of making noise. Penny Ikinger’s raw talent has taken her on a global journey, winning over audiences in Japan, the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Her international tours have earned her a legion of devoted fans, and even the toughest critics have been won over by her undeniable talent. Penny’s passion for music and electrifying performances have allowed her to captivate audiences worldwide, making her a truly remarkable artist.
Come along for an afternoon of dark songs, dirty guitars and uncompromising rock’n’roll.
