Penny Ikinger plays an exclusive solo performance supporting experimental Arthur Russell-esque minimalist pop artist/cellist Gareth Skinner at George Lane, St Kilda on Saturday16th March. Gareth is promoting his debut full band album OFF // AXIS. From a very wide range of musicians Gareth has hand-picked a crème of Melbourne musicians to form this band for a tougher edge – Sarah Blaby (Maggie Pills/Double Vanity), Ben Michael (The Sand Pebbles) and Drew Caldwell (Disaster Plan / Breather Hole) – with special the guest lead vocals/guitar of Joel Silbersher (HOSS / GOD etc).
