PENNY IKINGER is thrilled to be launching a new split double A side 7” vinyl single with fabulous Melbourne rockers BABY 8 this SUNDAY 8th DECEMBER at THE OLD BAR, FITZROY. The single is being released on FANTASTIC MESS RECORDS. PENNY IKINGER has recorded a cover version of her favourite Oz rock song of all time – DIVINYLS classic ‘Boys in Town’.
PENNY IKINGER recently launched a new video clip of ‘Boys in Town’ at ‘A Celebration for Chrissy’, an event to mark the occasion of CHRISSY AMPHLETT’s 60th birthday and to honour her legacy. This video was made by the very talented TIM MCCORMACK (who also plays bass on the recording). This song was filmed and recorded at Hothouse, St Kilda.
